Automata Posters
Overview
A set of ten high-resolution PDF posters celebrating the most interesting patterns found in one-dimensional cellular automata.
I designed these to print and hang in my house. These were created using Processing. Each poster either starts with a single dot in the center at the top of the page, or with a randomized first row of dots, which affects the pattern produced in later rows. Each subsequent row is then computed using the particular cellular automata rule of each poster.
These posters are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC 4.0) license so feel free to use them for your own projects.
